My name is Anthony and I’ve been a glazier- highly skilled glass technician for 9 years. In the beginning of my journey I had the opportunity to travel the country and participate in extravagant commercial projects such as building schools, hospitals, highrises and apartment complexes. As well as being a part of an amazing team of experienced glaziers who had 20 plus years of knowledge and who were willing to pass on the wisdom because I was eager to learn. I traveled for about 4 years and I finally decided to solidify my career here in Charlotte, where I like to call home.
I was privileged to work with a residential company who took my skills and amplified them by teaching me how to cut glass, make windows from scratch, measure and install custom showers with finite precision, which in turn made me a versatile glazier. On this road I also learned that there was more to life than what I was settling for. As a father of two beautiful children I knew there were changes I needed to make in order to live the life we all deserved. I knew that my life had more meaning and that I could be a benefit to my community, but first, just like broken glass I had to pick up the pieces and RECOVER from my addiction. Now, as a Recovered member of society I know I can make an impact by telling my story and maybe be the voice for someone who doesn’t have one.
